Consistent with its focus on remaining one of the dominant master fulfillment companies focusing on supporting “the best brands” in the incentive, rewards, and recognition business, Links Unlimited has continued to invest in inhouse imprinting to meet growing demand for personalization, reports Scott Kooken, CEO. For Links Unlimited, that means the imprinting of retail brands and packaging, not traditional promotional products.
According to Kooken, imprinted brands and packaging is now a double-digit portion of the business and growing, such that most of the work now is done on premises following guidelines provided by each brand.
Adds Anthony Fullenkamp, newly named Manager of the Promotional Products Division, “Over the last couple of years, we have heard and listened to requests from our customers to eliminate the shipping cost to a decorator. It is our belief that having inhouse imprinting will increase co-branding with premium retail brands as the cost has decreased.”
Based on this investment, he says, the current lead time for in-house printing is 15 business days to delivery. “We do plan on decreasing that. We also currently offer rush services to meet the last-minute requests.” Pad and digital printing are available.
Generally, he says, “The minimum order quantities are 25 units; however, we do offer a less than minimum option with an absolute minimum of five units.
Explains Fullenkamp, “Links Unlimited wants to provide this service to our customers to make co-branding with premium retail brands easier, as the demand continues to grow for those types of products.”
